Provisional qualifying results
Sainz, Tsunoda, and Stroll all penalized
Max Verstappen of Red Bull took provisional pole position for the 2023 Canadian Grand Prix. Verstappen's teammate, Sergio Perez, finished in second place, while Carlos Sainz of Ferrari finished in third place. Sainz, Tsunoda, and Stroll were all penalized three grid places for impeding other drivers.
The race will be held on June 17, 2023, at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The race will be 70 laps of the 4.361-kilometer circuit.
